Disney Springs
The Challenge
Disney Springs needed a festive look for their "Finding Frightful Fashions" Halloween campaign. The main hurdle was the logistics. We had to shoot over the course of two nights while the complex was completely closed to the public. Since it was not actually Halloween yet, the park had zero seasonal decor. The challenge was building a spooky atmosphere entirely from scratch while moving fast enough to capture a demanding list of 15-second spots and multiple short-form social cuts.
The Execution
Brought on for cinematography, lighting, and post-production, we brought in heavy equipment to transform the empty walkways. We used two ARRI SkyPanel S360s to push moonlight into the wide shots, combined with Astera tubes for targeted, spooky uplighting on the architecture. We shot on the Sony F55 and laid track for a Chapman dolly to keep the camera movement smooth and deliberate. After wrapping the shoot, we handled the edit and color grading to dial in the exact spooky, seasonal look Disney needed for the final deliverables.
