MMI Symani Surgical System
The Challenge
The objective was to capture the full scope of the Symani Surgical System. We needed to balance the large physical footprint of the robotic platform with the microscopic precision of its specialized surgical tips. The goal was to demonstrate live operation with human talent while maintaining a pristine, highly controlled visual environment.
The Execution
We brought the complete surgical platform into our studio and filmed on a seamless cyc wall to establish a sleek, modern aesthetic. By directing two on-screen talent, we clearly illustrated the system's clinical workflow and scale. We then deployed precise macro cinematography and specialized lighting to highlight the intricate engineering of the surgical tips, delivering a polished and comprehensive product showcase.
Super Micro Instrumentation
The Challenge
The Symani Surgical System utilizes super micro needle holders and instruments that operate at a microscopic level. The challenge was to photograph these exceptionally small components to highlight their precision engineering. We needed to overcome extreme depth of field limitations and light highly reflective, tiny surfaces to visually communicate their advanced clinical value.
The Execution
We deployed specialized macro photography techniques and meticulous studio lighting to capture the intricate details of each instrument. By carefully sculpting the light across the metallic surfaces, we showcased the exacting craftsmanship of the super micro tips. The resulting images elevate these tiny components, clearly presenting them as sophisticated, high-performance surgical tools.
Symani System Reveal
The Challenge
The objective was to create a high-impact product reveal that builds anticipation and commands attention. We needed to transform a highly technical robotic platform into a visually striking centerpiece. The challenge was using only light, shadow, and movement on a blank studio canvas to create a sense of dramatic scale and technological innovation.
The Execution
We utilized our studio cyc wall to isolate the surgical system, removing all visual distractions to focus entirely on its engineering. By shaping high-contrast lighting and pairing it with fluid, deliberate camera movements, we highlighted the sleek architecture of the robotic arms. The final video delivers a cinematic and powerful introduction to the platform.
